A belated Merry Christmas to my readers! I hope that you had a day filled with happiness and spent with those you love.
I began my day opening presents with my family. It was so nice to see the look of shock, surprise and joy on Samantha’s face when she received gifts that she was wishing for and asked Santa for. I was even amazed when I got an iPhone from Santa!
I shared some of the morning with my friend’s on Twitter and Facebook and was sure to send my greeting to them, thinking that I’d come back online after having lunch and visiting my aunt to write a blog post. Unfortunately, my mother wasn’t feeling well and she went to bed early. Shawn and I prepared dinner early so she could eat. We cleaned up the dinner mess and the house a bit too. Then I fell fast asleep about 8 PM.
The next day, I wasn’t able to wake up for the life of me. Shawn was at work so I tried to eat a bit and take my meds, but most of the day was spent sleeping. I’m so happy that this happened after Christmas though so I was able to spend time with my family, make some phone calls and get online for a little while at least.
Here’s some photos of our Christmas Day. I’ll post more on Facebook soon.

Japanese books for Samantha.

Shawn with Lottery Tickets. Any winners?

Anime gift set – Lucky Star.

One of my favorite gifts – a ring from Samantha.

The future meteorologist!

I think there’s just something about Christmas night that calls most of us to bed early. We were at my aunt’s house for the annual family get-together and by 8:00 I was having a horrible time keeping my eyes open so Amanda and I took our leave so I could come home and get to bed early.
Hope you’re feeling better now! It looks like you had a lovely Christmas!
We didn’t have turkey Linda, so I can’t blame it on that. I guess it’s all the work that leads up to the day. I’m feeling a lot better today even though I slept in until 2 PM!
