T.J. Maxx and Marshalls Christmas Shopping For Secret Santa
December 22nd, 2009 by Connie RobertsT.J. Maxx and Marshalls has some of the best discount Christmas shopping deals around. I was given a $25 gift card to use to shop for a Secret Santa and chose Marshalls since it is close to my home. I frequently shop there so the prices weren’t new to me, but the ease in finding gifts and purchasing them were.
I don’t know much about my Secret Santa so I decided to go with items that would be liked by many women. Nothing too specific, but I definitely put lots of thought into my purchases. I shopped this past Sunday when the crowds were all out. I worried about being in Marshalls for a long time.
When I entered, I was really pleased. I found the usual items in their same places, but at the end of many aisles were tables with big price signs all grouped together. I found cookies, Christmas decorations, candy, Hello Kitty items, toys and books.

Having the prices right there made it easy to decide on what to choose.

With the products grouped together I didn’t waste time looking around.

Look what I found in the clearance section, a shiny reindeer!

No reason to forget about your pets!
Now I didn’t buy any of these for my Secret Santa. She’ll just have to wait! But if you still have Christmas shopping to do, then I suggest T.J. Maxx or Marshalls.
Both T.J. Maxx and Marshalls took part in Carol-Oke, which raised money for Toys For Tots. You can visit and watch the carols for fun and learn more about other events they will be holding in the future.
I was given two $25 gift cards to T.J. Maxx or Marshalls. One was used for my Secret Santa. This did not influence my opinions written here.

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

I used to hate TJ Maxx because I couldn’t stand the disorganization – I’m not one to hunt for stuff. I want it right out in front of me. But then I stumbled across a set of microfleece sheets there for only $19.99 … and Target wanted $40 for the same thing!
Totally worth a little scavenger hunt, I think.

Great gift ideas! I like going to TJ Maxx and Marshalls once in a while. I forgot about checking them out for Christmas gifts! I agree with Andy, it’s fun to find a good find.
