• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Math Tutoring Online

December 20th, 2009 by Connie Roberts

Math tutoring online is a solution to busy moms like me. If your child is having trouble with math instead of bringing them to a tutoring site, or having them stay for after-school tutoring, why not take advantage of online math tutoring? Imagine having help available all day and every day and not having to drive or wait while your child is learning.

You can give this online math help a try for free too. There’s a free demo offered by TutorVista. Then pay $99 per month for the service. Besides the 24/7 assistance, there is one on one personal service using voice on your computer. There’s even a “white board” that both the tutor and student can see and work on together.  The personal tutors are versed in the US standards for each state and the national standards as well. All tutors have Graduate degrees and undergo training and a certification process. Your child will be with the same tutor every time so the continuity of learning works.

If you don’t need math help for a full month, but for a specific assignment, homework or for a short time, there are programs available for that too. This is especially true for high school, college and even graduate students. TutorVista assists students from Kindergarten – Graduate School.

TutorVista is an excellent site. Besides, I also use tutorteddy.com for my daughter’s math homework. I get too little time to help her doing homework; so, I depend on such sites a lot. Along with math, tutorteddy provides homework help for other subjects. They also offer a free 30 minutes’ demo. You can give it a spin.
