Mom Surgery Tomorrow
December 2nd, 2009 by Connie RobertsAfter being sick in Hawaii and then being hospitalized when we came home, my Mom has her surgery scheduled for tomorrow. She will be having her axillary lymph nodes removed. It will be done in the hospital and she’ll stay overnight. This makes us all feel much better as she is still feeling weak.
It’s been a rough time around here. She is very depressed and anxious and who can blame her? She’s 80 years old and has spent her life taking care of other people. For her to be diagnosed with Breast Cancer now is like a slap in the face to her. She wanted to spend this time enjoying her family, traveling and being spoiled for once in her life.

I just pray that her surgery and treatment will go easily. Her treatment will depend on the number of lymph nodes that are cancerous. So please pray that my Mom’s surgery goes well.

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

Here’s praying for your mom’s successful surgery so she’d have lots of time for family, traveling and all the fun stuff.
