VeggieTales Saint Nicholas: A Story of Joyful Giving DVD is the latest movie by Big Idea just in time for Christmas. The theme of giving is all around this release, including the subject manner and the various promotions involved. The story of Santa Claus aka Nicholas finds an amazing discovery in Bethlehem and changes Christmas forever.

My 10 Year Old Daughter’s Review: Samantha thought it was pretty cool to see a new version about Santa Claus and that he had to learn that giving is what you’re supposed to do. Nicholas taught me that helping others is even more important than getting gifts. I thought it was funny the way the butler gave Nicholas really weird names like Nickety Nick Knack. It was really awesome when Larry came in and changed the setting like adding Christmas lights or making it snow. My favorite song was “Donuts For Benny”. It’s pretty embarrassing to say that I’m still a fan of the VeggieTales Movies and I’m almost 11.
My Review: It’s exciting to see a brand new Christmas VeggieTales movie. This is the first one in seven years. There’s even a new character, Nicky the Pepper who is so adorable! The entire DVDÂ is fun filled but as always, includes a very important message. There’s tons of bonus features including a music video with Matthew West and Amy Grant, a discussion guide and family activity where you can make sugar cookies with your children.
Purchase: The DVD is available for $14.99 from the Big Idea website. You can also find discounts, contests and become a fan on the VeggieTales Facebook fan page.
