• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Piggy Paint Review And Giveaway

November 4th, 2009 by Connie Roberts

Piggy Paint is non-toxic nail polish for girls. The phrase “Natural As Mud” fits perfectly with Piggy Paint as “mud is made up of water and and natural ingredients” Piggy Paint.

    piggy_paint_button

The founder of Piggy Paint, Melanie Hurley, is a mom who saw what damage regular nail polish can do when her daughter spilled a bottle of it. The foam plate she was using was eaten through by the chemicals in the polish. And those chemicals will most likely end up in our daughter’s mouths when they chew on their nails or suck their fingers. Not any more with Piggy Paint!

You can use this polish as a learning tool also for fine motor skills, patterns and of course naming colors. Just have some mom and daughter fun as you both share the time together doing your nails. Have a few bottles of Piggy Paint and have a mani and pedi party for your daughter and her friends!

There are 14 color choices, gift packs, odorless polish remover and T-Shirts and Onsies. There’s even a Fight Breast Cancer Pack where a portion of the sales go toward the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure Research.

Piggy Paint NailsMy Review: I received the Forever Fancy polish, which is bright pink. Samantha, who is 10 and a tomboy, surprisingly does like to wear polish once in a while and since we’re getting ready for a trip this weekend, she was delighted to give it a try beforehand. I allowed her to do her nails on her own but kept an eye on her. Usually the odor of nail polish upsets her, but she didn’t say a thing when she opened the bottle. When she got some polish on her finger, she was able to wipe it off easily. She even did her toe nails. She loved the color and so did I. It wasn’t too over powering as adult polishes can be. It’s been about 3 days now and they are still fine with very few chips.

To Purchase: You can order online. Each bottle is $9.99, the gift packs vary in price and the remover is $10.50. Shipping is worldwide! Free shipping to the US with any order over $25!

Savings Alert! Use the coupon code FOGGLES15L for 15% off exclusive for my readers only on anything including sale items. Ends December 15, 2009.
