• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Preparing For Hawaii

November 3rd, 2009 by Connie Roberts

Thank goodness for to do lists. I am making them, crossing them through and making new ones as I’m preparing for our trip to Hawaii. So far all of our clothing has been bought, tons of fun doing that! But shocked to learn that finding summer clothing in Florida at this time of year was difficult. All reservations are made. All transportation to airports made. And now it’s just the little stuff that’s left.

My dream of a limo ride to and from the airport is gone after learning the cost. But, I know we’ll be pampered when we arrive and for our whole stay. I’m not looking forward to the flights at all, but we’re taking pillows, sleeping pills, Benedryl, laptops and an Ipod.

Now I’m ready to get the laundry done – don’t want to wear new clothes without them being washed. My mani and pedi are due for Friday and I’m lathering on Jergen’s Natural Glow. We’re leaving Saturday and that day can’t come sooner. I don’t consider any of this work since staying in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii will be the end result. Hula time!

Enjoy your trip! Lot’s of to-do beforehand prep, but you’ll have fun!

OMG, I’m so jealous. I went to Hawaii when I was still in high school and I still remember how utterly gorgeous it is! I would so love to get back there one day!
