I’ve written previously about Cryo-Cell and their work with stem cells from menstrual blood. They are now partnering with Susan B. Komen to raise money for breast cancer research for the month of October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Along with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Cryo-Cell is working to find ways to use the “rich source of stem cells from menstrual blood” to treat breast cancer. When you purchase the “Protect Baby, Protect Momâ€Â they will contribute $50 to the Susan B. Komen Foundation. This service combines C’elle with the Ucord service, which is the monthly menstrual blood and umbilical cord storage. For the C’ell service, $25 will be donated.
Unfortunately everyone has been touched by this disease, be it a family member, friend, co-worker or even yourself. Please spread the word about C’Elle Breast Cancer Donation .
If you are expecting a baby or know someone who is, this is the perfect time to sign up for the Ucord service. This can make a great group gift that lives on especially if the parents have been touched by breast cancer. I’m proud of this company that I use for the storage of my daughter’s stem cells not only because of the work that they do but the Cyro-Cell Breast Cancer Donation they are taking part in this month.

Hi Connie!
Seems like we did some commenting back and forth way back before I had to take a year off!
Anyway, nice to be back on your site and see what you’re up to.
My wife is a BC survivor so we’re always tuned in to the many approaches to helping the cause.
Thanks for the good informative post!
Sounds like a worthy project. I wish there was as much effort in preventing cancer as there is in treating it….both are necessary
