The Obama Time Capsule Book Review
October 6th, 2009 by Connie RobertsTHE OBAMA TIME CAPSULE: World History in the Making is a personalized book that features President Obama’s campaign, inauguration and first 100 days in office. This is more than a scrapbook of photos. It is a the story of the historical events that took place and how ordinary people took part in these events.

The information included is the story of the Presidential Campaign of 2008 and includes contenders Hilary Clinton, John McCain and even Sarah Palin. You’ll read about President Obama’s family and professional life. The details and facts about the election and the Inauguration itself are extremely detailed. The photos included are from some of the best photographers from the media.
Then comes the customization where you can add your own photos and words too. The process is simple and has a video as well as written instructions to follow. The book can be dedicated to someone and makes a great gift. The Obama Time Capsule has a website with all of the information you need.

My Review: I was so pleased when my book arrived. It is hardcover with heavy paper that will last a very long time. The photos are top notch, even the ones that I provided. I was not expecting this quality as well as the “story” that ran throughout the book. I dedicated it to my 10 year old daughter, Samantha, who became interested in politics when President Obama ran for office last year. She said that loved that her photos were along side other supporters. She also was excited to see her name was listed in a few areas of the book. The facts, maps and graphs as well as the photos of President Obama’s daughters delighted her.
Purchase: You can purchase THE OBAMA TIME CAPSULE: World History in the Making from Amazon.com for $34.95.

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

I think most people enjoy getting a personalized gift and this one puts them directly into the action so it would make a great gift. It also is a bit of history that can be enjoyed in the near future and passed down in years to come.
