And A Word From My Laptop

I thought I’d let my laptop get a word in for once:

When I was taken out of my box I heard a lot of “oohs and ahhs” and then I was put on a desk for about a week. I was used once in a while after that but after some big holiday where there was a big tree, lots of wrapping paper, cookies and food, I was used non-stop. Someone kept trying out all the programs that were loaded on me. Someone added some games and played them all day long.

Then my usb port was being used a lot. I started to see tons of photos being added to me. Soon the blogging and tweeting began. I moved off of the desk and onto a pillow on a lap in the den. It’s good that I’m light and easy to hold or I guess I’d be stuck in that office all the time. Boring! I like being around everyone with the TV in the background.

By now I’m about 9 months old. I’m used every single day. I get a short rest and then it’s back to clicking on my keyboard. My memory is getting low, but I can still do my job. Since I’m owned by someone who travels a lot, I go in a bag and get to see new places. I’m an HP Compaq and I’m worth it!
