And We’re Off Almost

After all this time of waiting, I can’t believe it’s almost here! We’re leaving tomorrow for Kansas. And it’s only 5 more days until the wedding!

Even though the last few days had me questioning my sanity, things are going along smoothly. I’m feeling well, just tired, but I can handle that. We’re almost done packing. I tried on my dress with my new shoes and all is well. I bought new earrings but for some reason, I can’t find them. Frustrating, but I’m not going to stress over it. I’m sure I’ll find them later and wear them another time.

I’m learning some important life lessons from my daughter’s wedding. I’ll share them when I return. But for now, I’ll just say that I’m not sweating the small stuff any more.
