After my blog, BrainFoggles, won Murray Newlands Blogging Competition to attend Affiliate Summit East and I made my travel arrangements, I started to get nervous. I didn’t know if I’d be on my own at this huge event in New York City or if I’d run into someone I know at least. I kind of know Murray, but not very well. I’ll be happy to meet him but I don’t want to be his shadow and bug him the whole time.
Soon enough I learned that there are a lot more bloggers attending ASE:
Heather, from Beautiful British Columbia will be the Blog Mistress. I’ve known her for about a year.
Drew from BenSpark is also going to be there. I thought I was going to meet him last year, but that fell through. It will be great to meet him IRL now and again in October.
Laurie from La Vie de Laurie has become a blogging friend and twittering friend. I’m so excited to finally get to meet her. She’s so sweet online!
Corrin from Oh hey! has me laughing a lot. Her and her Christmas…I never know what she’ll write next. Now to see if she’s that funny in person. I bet she is.
This will be my first blogging event and I know it won’t be my last.
