When I was a little girl, my family made jigsaw puzzles as a hobby together. I did the same with my older daughter and now with my younger daughter. It can be difficult to not lose puzzle pieces, especially when there’s a cat who likes to climb and chew on any small pieces that he can find. They also take up a lot of room.
Crazy4Jigsaws.com is a way for us to still enjoy making puzzles together without any of those issues. Plus it’s a ton of fun and something we can do together online. I can actually take part in this game unlike the other types that she plays. There is a free membership available that has hundreds of puzzles to chose from, a new daily puzzle and the ability to upload custom photos to be made into online puzzles.
With a premium membership we get all of the above plus we can:
- choose the number of pieces (size of puzzle)
- open up the puzzle into full screen
- choose the cut of the pieces (classic, squares, hexagon, etc.)
- rotate the pieces
- save puzzles when we need to stop (which is really hard to do!)
- change the background area
My Review:Â Crazy4Jigsaws.com is a fun online game site appropriate for children from about five on up. Puzzles start at 12 pieces, so with an adult’s help a young child can get a start at making puzzles if they know how to use a computer mouse or laptop. The choices of puzzles are fun and so cute. The Animals and Wildlife category include cats, dogs, sea creatures, farm animals and my favorite, other animals. Other animals has rabbits, turtles, guinea pigs, frogs and squirrels. And with over 800 puzzles, it is hard to chose one to do. This game is addicting. You’ll find yourself saying, “just one more” after you finish a puzzle. I like that you can hide the timer. It does make me a bit nervous, so I don’t like to look at it. I enjoy playing this with my 10 year old daughter. It’s not a “take turn” game so we have fun yelling, “I’ve got it” when we find pieces that fit together.
