I’ve been on a winning streak recently. The blog and twitter contests I enter, have been surprisingly successful quite frequently in the last two months. In a way it feels scary, like soon it’s going to come to a screeching halt and I’ll be left with some kind of punishment in replace of all of these winnings. Is someone sending bad vibes my way – “a plague on you Connie”?
My family keeps teasing me to enter the lottery, but those odds are way too high for me. Instead I’ll keep on doing what I do best. I recently wrote about tips on entering blog giveaways. That has helped me, so take a peek and give it a try. I’ll keep on Tweeting and entering contests there and taking part in forums. Plus being a member of blog groups, like Momfluence, and taking part in blog events is another way to win prizes. That’s how I won an iPhone. Yes, one of my biggest prizes, the iPhone, was won last night when I wasn’t even on Twitter. It was during a Sitewarming party run by Amy (ResourcefulMom) and was due to my post about House Of Gems. I also won 4 tickets to Saltimbanco by Cirque de Soleil in Tampa through a Twitter Contest. I took my daughter, my Mom and a good friend. I also won 4 tickets to Disney World through a local forum, a ticket to IzeaFest from a blog giveaway, a $50 Amazon gift certicate from a blog post (I got the most comments) which I learned about from a blogging forum, some small gifts from other Sitewarmings, and a $50 Target Gift Certificate from a blog giveaway.
Am I going to stop? No way on earth. Even if I don’t win, I’ll keep on trying. It’s a fun part of blogging and being part of the online world. I am very grateful for everything that I’ve won and never take it for granted. If I can’t use it, I give it to a friend or donate it. But the iPhone is all mine!
