When you see blog giveaways enter them! You know that saying, “If you’re not in it, you can’t win it” well with blog giveaways, your odds of winning are much better than winning the lottery. I try to enter as many contests as possible and I win quite often.
Here’s some tips:
- Be sure that your email address is included when you leave your comment.
- Follow all directions. Often there is a mandatory entry for giveaways. If you don’t follow through with that, you won’t be entered into the giveaway.
- There’s no need to take part in every entry. For example, if one entry states that you can add a blog button on your blog, you can skip that if you wish. Your odds of winning may be lower, though.
- If part of the rules state that the winner will be announced on the blog (not emailed) then sign up for the blog’s email RSS feed.
- If the winner is going to be emailed, then be sure to check your email, including your spam folder to reply.

I am always afraid to enter since I’m new to blogging. I feel better about it maybe they won’t throw me in blogger jail for not entering right or somthing LOL
Hmm where can I find such competitions Connie? I have never won anything in my life like that. If I see one I’ll try to enter though. You are right. You have to be in it to win it
