Saturday Suspense

I spent this Saturday in suspense as I had the TV glued to CNN. I had to know what was happening in Iran. The demonstrations that began as outrage over the election and has now taken on a tone of revolution has been on my mind and in my heart since they began.

Yes, this is my Mommy blog, but when current events occur that effect people who cannot fight back, people who do not have basic human rights, I feel the need to write about the situation. I have always been a person who fights for the underdog and if a blog post, a green Twitter avatar, retweets about what is happening in Iran is going to help in some small way, I’m going to stick my neck out and do it.

No, this is not about me. It is about the brave men and women who are braving their lives in Iran. I hope that this is the beginning of the end of the dictatorship in Iran. Spread the word, watch YouTube videos, keep involved on Twitter, help those in Iran who are getting information out by sharing their news and denounce the violence of the Iran government.

The events are heartbreaking. I too am in constant prayer for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Thanks
