Thank God for laptops or we wouldn't get anything done would we?? I had a handy man help build countertop desks in our little office and bought three little cheapo chairs from Staples. I too spend most of my time on the couch or in a recliner with a hot lap.My husband did get me a table-mate folding table that will pull up close and adjust in height. It is a little flimsy and is good for eating off of but i still wind up with the comp on my.lap.
I saw somewhere a rolling laptop center that would work and you can angle it for comfort and even roll into the kitchen to use while cooking but I think it was too modern and expensive for what I want. I feel your pain..
