Bought A Flip

I bought myself a flip camcorder! I won a $100 Amazon Gift Certificate for getting the most comments on my book review post about The Green Teen and treated myself to something I will be using for my blog. Excited much? When you see the price I got it for, you’ll see why I’m finding it hard to not jump up and down (well that would be kinda hard for me to do any way, but you get the idea).

I still have about $50 left and am going to wait a bit on deciding how to spend it. I swore that I wasn’t going to allow Peanut to take money out her bank account to buy The Sims 3 but, she had did very well this school year and tomorrow she is having oral surgery again. We usually just take her out to lunch for the end of the school year since we don’t believe in rewards for good grades, but with what she has to go through tomorrow, I’m considering going half with her on the game. Still thinking it over…

    Yay! I am so glad that you won! *clapping* And yes! That is a most excellent price that you got it for!
    We are getting the Sims 3, it should be here any day, I pre-ordered it way back in December when I had the extra money.
    Sebastian is totally excited about it, and it will give me something to do while I recover from surgery but am unable to sit and work yet due to medicine brain fog…LoL
    I’ll be so screwed up from all of the pain meds that I won’t be able to think clearly, so I’ll play with my Sims and find new ways to kill them.
    I have been reading, and I learned that they took away the diving board from the pool and the Sims can now climb out of the pool so there goes the drowning death. But that got me thinking.
    If you still want them to drown in the pool, put them in the pool, then go into build mode, and build walls around the pool. They won’t be able to climb out..hahahaha!
    I really can’t wait to get it, we should have it by the weekend, at least I hope so.
