		<description>I&#039;m going back oh let&#039;s see 27 years is it... but we did the BBQ thing, too. And it was lots of fun, I think more fun than sitting down to a formal-type dinner at a restaurant or what have you. People were relaxed, comfortable, could walk around and do their thing. It just worked out very well for us.

		<description>We had the same problem with out of state guests.  We ended up ditching the formal rehearsal dinner idea and just did a big BBQ.  One of the hotels had a pavillion and grills that we could use, otherwise we would have used a local park.  But it turned out to be great fun.  The wedding party was all there, everyone involved in the wedding, and then we got to spend some time with the folks who had driven 12 hours to be there for us too that we probably wouldn&#039;t have had otherwise.  It ended up being most of my family and friends since I was the out of stater, but you could add in key groom&#039;s family too...</description>
