Tomorrow is Peanut’s last day of school. I’m so excited that she’ll be home for about 3 months. I know, weird, huh? But we have a lot of things planned and she wants to learn how to blog. How cool is that? I’m so proud that she wants to do something that I enjoy.

We’ve talked about her going to summer camp for a few weeks, but with all that’s happening, especially the upcoming wedding, we decided against it. Instead she’ll have a lot of play dates, go to a few Vacation Bible Schools and read a lot. She’s already gotten her reading log and is thinking about the books she wants to read. Like Mom, like daughter!
What are your plans for the summer with your children? Are you doing something “formal” like camp, playing it by ear or planning smaller events?

I think it is great your daughter wants to blog. My niece, who I also call Peanut, has expressed interest in the past. We actually talked about writing one together – an Auntie & niece blog.
Have a great summer with Peanut. I look forward to reading about your adventures together.

fibrohaven, she loves to write and wants to do what I’m doing. There’s a group that’s starting for children bloggers. If you’re interested, let me know.
