• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Rita’s Ice Review And Giveaway

May 18th, 2009 by Connie Roberts

    *CONTEST ENDED. WINNER ANNOUNCED.*
There’s a Rita’s Ice near my house, but for some unknown reason I haven’t stepped foot in it. Well maybe it’s because it’s almost next door to a restaurant that I go to, stuff my face at and waddle to my car unable to walk to Rita’s.

RitasIceBut, thanks to Family Review Network, I’ve had the chance to taste their Italian Ice and I’ll be going back again and again. The place is bright and cheery and you just know when you walk in that you’re in for a treat. My treat was a Chocolate Ice and my Mom had Wild Black Cherry. And what a treat it was! I felt like I was a kid again back in NY eating ices from a white paper cup. These are not ices like shaved ices. They are creamy and the flavor is just right.

Rita’s signature product is our Italian Ice, which is much smoother than a snow cone and combines ice with real fresh fruit; made fresh daily at each location and served within 36-hours of mixing.

Rita’s Ice also has Frozen Custard, Gelatis, Slendarita (a fat-free soft serve) and more. There’s even sugar free Italian Ice. There’s new ice flavors that come out so you may find something new your next visit. Don’t forget to get your 25th Anniversary Instant Winner Ticket with your order or if there isn’t a Rita’s close by, go to Rita’s Scratch and Win page to try your luck on winning $25,000 or a vacation.

Now you can enjoy Rita’s Ice for yourself. First, check to see if you there’s a location near you. If there is then keep reading!

Seems a shame we don’t have a Rita’s :( Sounds like it’s right up my alley when it comes to desserts and just fun, occasional, treats!
