Kissimmee Stars

I’ve seen stars on my trips to Kissimmee, real celebrities. There are a lot of them around town and they’re easy to spot. Who are they and where can you find them? Since I’m an insider, I’ll go ahead and share some of my tips with you.

  • Go to Walt Disney World, any of the four parks will do. Check your daily park guide to see where the “characters” will be. Check for Mickey Mouse. Once you find the area, he’ll be easy to find by the papparazzi surrounding him as well as fans wanting his autograph. But don’t fear, his people will give you access to him. Just be sure to have a magic marker or thick pen so he can sign his autograph. You don’t want to embarass yourself.
  • Meet Royalty at Medieval Times Dinner Show. Enjoy a meal, watch knights battling on horses and have time to for a meet and greet, even the ability to take photos of your favorite celebs.
  • Get up close with the Houston Astros at Osceola County Stadium during Spring Training. Autograph hounds will be in their glory here.

img_2224Want to take a tour of the big wigs in Kissimmee like I have? Sign up to win one of three weekend getaways (3 days/2 nights) for two, and one of two week-long vacations for four. Drawings will be held on or around 4/1/09, 5/1/09 and 6/1/09. And don’t forget your camera and pen (or marker).
