Day On The Town

After being stuck in the house for almost a week, My Mom took Peanut and I out to lunch and to the movies. I feel a lot better but felt a bit weak and didn’t want to chance it by driving. I was worried I’d get tired and ruin the day for everyone.

We ate at Cracker Barrel and had breakfast for lunch. I love that place. Of course we had to buy some candy to take with us to the movies. I always have to get candy, especially Necco Wafers and chocolates, every time I eat there.

Our movie of choice was Earth. It was amazing! I wish that we would have seen it at an Imax. It was a beautiful movie, with scenes of wildlife and nature. The photography was done from hot air balloons, boats, under the ocean from scuba divers and from helicopters. I think I would see it again at an Imax theater to see it in the best way possible.

I also wouldn’t suggest it for children under the age of 4 or 5. It may not keep their interest and there are some scenes of animals going in for the kill. There is never any blood shown, but it is understood about what happens.

Just getting out of the house was worth it. Spending time with my family made it even better.
