Basa Body Products Help Kenyan Women

When you combine awesome products that help people make a way out of poverty, you have a win-win situation. Mom-It-Forward is working on a new project to raise $50,000 for the Yehu Microfinace Bank to help impoverished mothers in Kenya.

kissmepackOne of the ways to raise funds is by partnering with Basa Products. I received the Kiss Me Gift Pack and I am thrilled with it! It is beautifully packaged with a ribbon but the lovely smell made me tear it open right away.

When I saw the soaps and smelled them (Mint Chocolate and Cherry Chocolate Truffle Soaps) I was upset at first because I’m allergic to everything. But I read that everything was made of “organic, virgin coconut oil and combined with the finest olive, palm, and peppermint essential oils, together with moisturizing cocoa butter” I gave it a try. And I was fine. Better than fine. I was in my glory!

Next is the Basa Body Stick, which is a moisturizer. I used it on the heels of my feet and my elbows. My skin felt so soft. It can even be used for dry itchy skin, which is a problem that I often have. Then there is the Basa Body Natural Coconut Oil Body Lotion. I used this all over and am happy to know that it contains a natural anti-wrinkle formula. I expect to be looking about 30 very soon since I can’t stop using this!

  • Purchase the Kiss Me Gift Pack, use the code: momitforward between now and May 12th and receive an additional 10% off, that makes the price $26.99!
  • Anyone that purchases any Basa Body or Coast Coconut Farms product by May 12 will automatically be entered into the Mom-It-Forward giveaway and will have the chance to win one of three prizes: 1) a $250 Disney Gift Card, 2) a $150 amazon.com gift card, and 3) a $100 Target gift card.
  • Make a cash donation of $20 or more and you’ll be entered into the giveaway too.

I just read about the microfinance bank in my monthly magazine from heifer international. I thought that was the greatest thing ever to finance those endeavors for the women in Kenya.
