Not only are Peanut and I sick, but so is Hubby. Hubby never stays home from work, so off he went sneezing and coughing, with a headache and sore throat. But Peanut and I stayed home, with our runny noses and red scratchy throats, falling asleep at the drop of a hat.
Poor Peanut couldn’t even swallow normal food because it hurt her throat. So I gave her soft foods including yogurt and jello. She was acting very silly I guess from boredom and thought it would be fun to try to eat her wiggly jello with her hands. I never knew that red jello would dye your hands….
ah, the good ol days of jello dye! loved it as a kid as well.
It is no fun being sick but moms like you make a kid’s illness memorable.

And yep, red jello colors your hands. I once thought Helena had some sort of monstrous rash – that’s how I found out.

It’s terrible when we are sick. I’ve been with a cold along with my son for two weeks. Sneezing, coughing, running nose has been a constant.
