Sweet Tomatoes is celebrating Lemon Month this April with a new promotion called, Pucker Up. There are some delicious new meals that feature lemons, including Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup, Summer Lemon with Spiced Pecans Tossed Salad and Tangy Lemon Muffins.

Don’t forget that there’s all of the other delicious good dishes too. All of the fresh veggies that you can imagine to make a huge salad are at the salad bar, plus potato and pasta salads. Of course there’s the soups, macaroni and cheese, chili, breads, baked potatoes and sweet potatoes, Focaccia and more.
Does it taste good? Oh my, yes! When you fill up your salad dish, it feels like you’re eating fresh picked vegetables. Sweet Tomatoes guarantees the freshness of their food:
Let’s just say within 24 hours of being in the ground, it’s on a refrigerated truck on its way to us. Our food is made from scratch every day. Our salad bar features over 50 fresh ingredients, including specialty tossed and prepared salads.
Today my mother and I had a delicious and very filling lunch. The restaurant is spotless. The staff is very helpful and as soon as we cleaned a plate, it was removed from our table. The food not only looks appetizing, it tastes wonderful. We both went in saying that we weren’t very hungry but after tasting the salads and soup, we had to try more! My mother enjoyed the rye bread and Lemon Orzo soup the most. I loved the Summer Lemon Salad and the Tuna Tarragon. Of course dessert was especially good. There was a choice of brownies, ice-cream, lemon muffins, corn muffins, fresh fruit and more. We had a small issue with my mother being told that she had to pay for her coffee even though we purchased a beverage, but once it was brought to the manager’s attention it was taken care of immediately.

Oh my goodness the chili is to die for!!!!! I ate 3 bowls of chili and 2 plates of salad. I so can’t wait until I have this baby in a few weeks so I can eat all I want and this child stop taking up all my eating room.

There is a Sweet Tomatoes that I noticed the last time I went shopping be I have yet to eat there. It’s 60 miles from my home but I would use the gift the next time I went shopping. It would be a wonderful treat.

We go to Sweet Tomatoes monthly. It’s always great. The Caesar salad is so good, and the Wonton Chicken salad, and the Broccoli salad, and the Lemon Pecan salad, and all the wonderful soups and breads. I think I’m getting hungry!

The focaccia pizza is delicious!
I love everything they have, the fresh crispy lettuce and everything along the HUGE salad bar… the awesome selection of soups, which change on a regular basis so you aren’t stuck with “the same old thing” if you come in twice in a week… the pasta dishes, and the various kinds of muffins, pan breads, pizzas… Mmm.
Probably my favorite, though, is to take one of the soup bowls, put a layer of warm Apple Crisp in the bottom, and then a good helping of vanilla soft serve ice cream on top… Oh, I’m drooling again…
I love their Asian chicken salad that you get right at the beginning of the line as well as the broccoli raisin salad and also their cream of mushroom soup!
I like their bread section and that it’s all you can eat.
I love going to Sweet Tomatoes on Fridays for clam chowder. YUM! The chili is also very good. Oh, and the Shrimp Bisque. Mmmm…
