An Extra Disney Day

I kinda thought that it would happen. And because we’re Disney Vacation Club members it doesn’t cost us any extra money. We’re staying an extra day at Disney World!

After sleeping in a bit late this morning, doing some shopping at Downtown Disney, courtesy of my Birthday Gift Card, and letting Peanut finally get some pool time, Hubby was tired. We all were. He wasn’t in the mood to make the drive home and we really wanted to get in some more fun times.

Luck would have it that we were able to reserve a studio at Old Key West using our DVC points. After a nap and dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe, we headed to the Magic Kingdom, to catch Wishes (the fireworks show). Then I got to do my most favorite thing ever, visit with my boyfriend Mickey Mouse….

Mickey was such a gentleman. He let me give him a hug and a few kisses. He even escorted me back to my scooter after our little rendevous. I’ll be seeing you soon, Mickey. And we are really leaving this magical place early today.
