Tie Buddies Review and Giveaway

*CONTEST ENDED. WINNER ANNOUNCED SOON.*
Tie Buddies should have been around when my two daughters were learning how to tie their shoes. It would have saved so much time, frustration and energy. This kid and parent friendly gadget helps a child learn to her shoes so quickly and easily it’s amazing.

tiebuddies

fairytiebuddiesSince my daughter already knows how to tie her shoes, I asked our friend Emily to give Tie Buddies a try. She had never been taught this skill and had never tried on her own. She got the pink fairy and magic wand pair which matched her sneakers. Her Mom, Darlene put the two sets on her shoelaces and began to read the directions. She showed Emily one time while reading and Emily began to get the hang of it already! Darlene couldn’t believe it. She worked with her a little more then left her to her own, only helping her when she asked for help. By the end of one day, Emily mastered tying her shoes.

Here’s a video of Emily showing off her talent for me (Please note that I made an error when I said it took her one week to learn. I don’t know what I was thinking!):

Those are really good for little ones. To often it seems they have a really hard time learning to tye their shoes. These are too cute.

Ha I have got to say teaching my child to potty train #2, she has no problems with #1, but this is so hard, some it may have to do with the fact I am 8mo pregnant and not as fast as I used to be, but goodness I need to get her done before thiss one gets here.

Teaching her how to ride her tricycle was challenging. She just didn’t have the coordination. Then one day, she hopped on and started pedaling away. I guess she wasn’t ready

Great job Emily and thanks for reviewing Tie Buddies! Just a little hint for Emily and others trying Tie Buddies…on the first part or the “starting knot” have your child hold the “tips” of the laces to make the “x” not the Tie Buddies. As you see here, Emily holds the Tie Buddies and gets the tips of the laces caught in the bow! The Tie Buddies come into play for tying the bow. Happy Tying Emily!
