LemonHead Kids Hair Accessories

LemonHead Kids provides some of the most unique and fashionable hair accessories I’ve seen in a long time. They have fabric headbands called bandeez which can be tied or kept tightened with a plastic clip. They also make clipeez which are adorable barrettes that don’t slip. Their bandeez fit toddlers, children, tweens, teens and adults.

When I was given a bandeez and a clipeez to review, my daughter was not pleased. I was actually going to review this on my friend’s little girls. She was curious when she saw the bandeez though and read the information on the back of the cardboard holder. I was pretty shocked when she asked if she could try them out for herself. You may be wondering why…

Headbands? I’ve got dozens of them. Does my daughter wear them? If I bribe her with candy, maybe. She’s one of those girls who doesn’t like the feeling of tags in her clothes, “lines” in her socks and clothes that just don’t feel right. Headbands make her feel uncomfortable. They hurt her behind her ears. They make her head feel numb.

Peanut was able to put the bandeez on by herself. She looked at the some of the photos on the cardboard holder and copied the teenage girl who had her hair a bit messy, not all pulled back like I normally do. She was able to use the comb part, which feels like velcro, to get it in her hair. Then she decided to tie it in the back instead of using the plastic clip. She fixed her hair a bit looking in the mirror, added the clipeez and announced that she looked, “cool”. The Lemon Head Kids accessories did not bother her at all. She wore it for the whole day and even asked if we could take it on our Disney vacation. I know that we’ll be buying more hair items soon.
