Spring Break Begins

Today was Peanut’s last day of school before Spring Break. She had an easy day, with just a little bit of actual school work and a Spring Festival with food and games. She is excited about her time off and so am I.

We get to go to Disney World this Sunday! Of course that’s something we always enjoy, but even if we weren’t going away just to have Peanut all to myself is what I love. Plus sleeping in and eating junk food a lot and going out whenever we want and staying in our pajamas.

Do you look forward to Spring Break as a parent or is this a time you dread?

I don’t dread it, but having 2 kids, 2 teenage boys is very different than having 1 child or even a couple of younger children.
Teens want their space, they want things their way, so they bicker a lot.
They do enjoy playing games together, but they have moments of also wanting to kill each other…LoL

Teens also eat a lot more and when you’re struggling to keep food on the table as is, having teen boys home 24/7, it gets even tighter with the budget.

Things I look forward to about spring break?
    Sleeping in.
Hanging out together when they are in a good mood.
    Watching movies together.
Having more time to talk to/with the teens.

Kats last blog post..It’s gonna be a long 9 days.
