Forever Friends Girls Review and Giveaway
*CONTEST ENDED. WINNER ANNOUNCED.*
Dolls are special. They are not just toys. With dolls, girls can pretend to be a Mommy, a teacher, a friend or anything that their imagination allows. I remember forming a real bond with a few special dolls when I was a girl. I’m happy to say that my daughter does that too.
Forever Friends Girls are dolls that teach about friendship, self-esteem and being a girl. They are of different ethnic backgrounds to educate about getting along with others who may look “different” from themselves. The dolls come in a beautiful box that looks as if it is gift wrapped. Each doll includes a book that tells the story about how three of the dolls became friends, an accessory and a bookmark.
My daughter, Peanut, was thrilled with her Forever Friends Girls doll. She thought she looked like some of her friends. She also liked the clothes she was wearing because, “they are something that I would wear, not something fake like on the other dolls I see.” She played with her and talked to her, making up a game about what she and her friends talk about and pretending to have a sleepover, which is something she enjoys doing now. She read the book and learned about how Marlee and Natalie were good friends and how they handled a new girl coming into their group. Peanut said that this happens a lot with her friends so she learned a new way to deal with this situation. With all of the negative media images, marketing that is focused on children, and toys and dolls that are poor role models, this is the type of doll I want my daughter to own.
She loved the Butterfly promise that is on the Forever Friends website.
Are you and your friends ready to take the Friends Forever Girls™ Pledge? The pledge is based on the Butterfly Promises—the first letter of each line spells out “Butterfly,” so it’s easy for you to remember!

I’d choose the Reina doll. For some reason my four year old has decided that’s her favorite name!
I would like to win the Reina doll because she and my daughter both love animals! I love that each doll represents a real girl!

I love the Marlee doll
My daughter would love the Kristina doll.
I like the Marlee doll.
I would pick Nika. She loves books and my grand-daughter does too. They would be two peas in a pod.
My daughter is a take charge kind of girl like Marlee! She doesn’t have brothers to drive her crazy, but you never know when our family may grow. Marlee is my pick!!!!
My daughter would like the Natalie doll because of her hair.
I put your button on my blog.
My favorite doll is Marlee because she loves horseback riding.
