Although I have never been to Branson, I have some friends that have visited there and told me what a great vacation place it is. This is one of the places that I want to visit as I know it is a perfect place for families. Now that I’ve learned about Young Christian’s Weekend, I really want to go!
I’ve been to other Christian events where there is music and speakers. The atmosphere is not only fun but it is a way to meet others who believe the same as me, a way to help me grow in my faith and to enjoy the type of music I enjoy. For this special weekend, some of the musicians performing are Kutlass, Leeland and DownHere. One speaker is Tim Oliphant, from NBC’s Gladiators.
We’d would definitely see as many of the concerts as possible and take part in the workshops which inspire us. On Sunday, the worship service sounds like the perfect way to start our day, well after breakfast served at Molly’s Mill Restaurant. And since this is all taking place at Silver Dollar, we’ll try to fit in some of the rides and activities there too.
One of the places to stay in Branson is the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing where I and my family can share a suite and eat at the Liberty Tavern. There’s also the HIlton Branson Convention Center Hotel where we can have eat some Mediterranien style food at the Trofi restaurant.
I also noticed the other packages that sound like a good choice for my family, including the Branson Shopping Package, and for me and my husband, the Romance Package. I’d love to visit the the Silver Dollar City, some of the shows that are known world-wide and the mountains.
I may end up making this more than a weekend trip!
