Do you remember going to sleepovers when you were a child? There were such a common thing when I was young. I must have gone to dozens from the age of 5 to my teen years. I guess because parents knew each other very well, or it was “the thing” to do, but sleepovers were so much fun.
Tonight Peanut is having a sleepover with one of her friends from school. They are laughing, playing video games, watching movies and eating…a lot. It’s a good feeling to know that my daughter is having fun while it brings back memories for me.
I’m on “patrol” tonight to be sure there won’t be any pranks. So far it is just fine though, but it’s early. I’m glad I stocked up on snacks. They are going through a lot of them right now.

I so remeber SleepOvers, oh how simple things were back then. Gosh I think that was the only time my parents got a break from us kids was when we were at sleep overs, then as we got older we babysat overnight…
I remember those good old days too:)

I remember going to sleepovers, too, and they were always so much fun but we never really seemed to get much sleep!

Lisa, sleepovers were one of the ways for us to feel grown up. And my parents were like yours. They never were away from us either.
Deb, wasn’t it fun back then?
Linda, sleep? The best part was staying awake all night!
