We just got our Save The Date cards from our daughter for her wedding. Actually it is a magnet. It’s really well done. Lady Ali and Buttah designed it themselves. There’s a lot more going on too. They are making a great deal of progress. I’m so proud of them because they are doing this pretty much on their own while going to school full time and working full time.
They have the reception hall reserved. Lady Ali’s dress is bought, they are meeting with a photographer and an officiant this week and the men are going for their tuxes this weekend. They are pretty much decided on the honeymoon too. They are meeting to do a tasting for the reception food soon but have most of the menu planned. They’ve met with a vegan baker who will do a top layer of the cake and are looking into other bakers for the rest of the cake.
We are starting to plan our trip to Kansas. We want to stay a few days before the wedding to meet with Buttah’s parents and to attend the Bridal Shower. We are also deciding on the wedding gift. I’m leaning toward new luggage as they are going to do a lot of traveling.
Things are really happening and fast.

I wish our kids would have used some save the date things. Now that it is coming up, people are asking me about it.
omgosh, how exciting!
When I had my digital design business, save the date magnets were a big seller. They’re very convenient!

It’s coming up fast! That’s great that they are doing everything on their own. That’s rewarding and I think that it makes it more meaniful, too.
