Manifest Your Magnificence CD Review and Giveaway

*CONTEST ENDED. WINNER ANNOUNCED.*
Even as my children were infants I talked to them in a positive manner. I never said that they were “naughty or bad”, instead they did something wrong, made a mistake or disobeyed. One of the the things I worked on was imparting self esteem and this was one of the ways I made my attempt.

As they grew, I also praised them, being sure not to go overboard. Because of our religious beliefs, teaching them that they were made by God and were just perfect. But as they went to school, made friends, lost friends, heard people say mean things about them, got a low grade on a test, were disappointed by a family member, etc. their self esteem took a bit of a nose dive.

manifestmagnificenceManifest Your Magnificence CD includes 64 affirmations spoken by children along with lovely music helps children remember that they have qualities that are worthwhile and that doing their best is one of the most important thing possible.

Here are some of the affirmations from the CD:

  • “I am caring. I treat everything around me with tenderness and love.”
  • “I have a warm and giving heart.”
  • “I am adventurous. I enjoy going places I’ve never been before.”

My daughter listened to this CD while she was doing her homework for a few days and then put it in a portable CD player and listened to it while going to sleep. She enjoyed the calming music and the messages. It helped her to think of some “good things about myself that I didn’t think of before.”

Susan T. Hawson, MA, CPCC, CHBC, a University Professor, Family and Relationship Systems Coach, Human Development Expert, Author, Keynote Speaker, Humanitarian-Award Winner and International Coaches Federation PRISM award winner for my development of the Kids Coaching Connection Program and the author of the affirmations has also written Manifest Your Magnificence cards. Her work is aimed at building children’s self esteem.

The “Who Do You Think You are Anyway” book looks interesting.
All three of my children are so different, this book might shed some light on that.
