Wish I Were At Blissdom

I still haven’t been to a blogging convention of any kind. I had really hoped to attend Blissdom this weekend but with saving money for my daughter’s wedding and with me not feeling well, it turned out not to be possible. I’ve been reading about the fun everyone had on Twitter and I’ve seen some photos on Flickr.

I keep thinking, “one of these days” but I think if I don’t actually make the reservations, buy the tickets, and set up the transportation I won’t go. A while ago I was planning on attending a conference and even went so far as to start to order some promotional products like business cards and pens, but then I ended up getting scared about keeping up with everyone because of using a scooter when there’s a lot of walking to do and getting fatigued easily. Basically I chickened out.

Once the wedding is paid for, I promise that I will try to attend at least one conference. It will be good for me and good for business.

I’ve never been to a conference either – never even heard of Blissdom!

I’d love to go to one with the hope of meeting some of my readers and some of the bloggers that I stalk.

Just thought I would pop in and say ‘hi’! I’m trying to get back into blogging – finally! I rather wish that I was at Blissdom, too, it would be so much better than being here amongst all the boxes, bags, and mess of the move!

Conferences are great learning and networking experiences. Which other ones were you considering going to? I’ve been to quite a few- Affiliate Summit, Blogworld, and IZEAfest are my favorites. Hope to see you at a show soon!
