Healthy Eating With PhytoLife
February 2nd, 2009 by Connie RobertsYou know that I’m working on my healthy eating habits (well except for today for Super Bowl Sunday). In an effort to get a handle on my health and to lose weight, I’m trying to eat foods that are not processed, eat more fruits and veggies and eat less sweets.
PhytoLife is a company that provides food that helps you to “power yourself naturally”. Phytonutrients are found in real foods and help you with your immune system, your eyesight and your heart. PhytoLife provides foods like Fresh Express. This is a perfect way for me to eat what I should be. Their Sweet Tender Greens and Tender Ruby Reds are brand new and are the basic ingredient for a lot of salads that I enjoy.
I like to use these beautiful, leafy mixtures and add tomatoes, carrots, sunflower seeds, and other ingredients that can
change daily. I add sardines, brown rice, salmon, shrimp, tuna, cucumbers, feta cheese, olives, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, etc. I can make an entire meal using the Fresh Express TenderGreens just by adding a few more vegetables, some dressing, a grain or a seafood or some chicken.
Phil Lempert, The Supermarket Guru, promotes both PhytoLife and the two salad mixtures. He is well known for finding healthy foods.

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

I like PhytoLife as well.
It is convenient and all I have to do is add a boiled egg, tomato, cucumbers, and a few other things, and I have a healthy meal!

I’ve cut out anything “white” in my diet (sugar, flour, milk, bread…) and have bulked up on my leafy greens, so I always buy Fresh Express.
