What A Change

Yesterday’s Inauguration was more amazing than I imagined. I was glued to the television and to the internet for most of the day from the minute I woke up until right now. I can’t even begin to tell you about my feelings but to say that my hopes are being met already.

I know that there is a lot of difficulty ahead for President Obama, Vice President Biden, the government and the United States. I know that President Obama is a leader who is going to inspire us to work towards a common goal of unification, sacrifice and service. If things continue as they did during his campaign and only part of the volunteers that worked to help get him elected, work toward these goals, we will succeed in changing this nation for the better.

It won’t be easy but it is not easy the way things are now. Let us come together, all races, Democrats and Republicans, disabled and non-disabled, all religious backgrounds, to make America what it can be. What we want it to be. I am looking forward to a change.
