Happy Birthday Lady Ali! 22 years ago you entered my life such a short time that even the doctor was surprised. While I was pregnant with you I thought you were a boy because you bruised my ribs from kicking so much. I know now that you were impatient, wanting out. But your impatience has gotten you were you are this day.
You are not really impatient. You just know what you want and where you want to be. You work at it and succeed. You make yourself proud and me too.
Your life wasn’t easy but not many people would know that. You are wiser than your years and that is easily seen. Yes, you are smart, but you are also kind, considerate and giving. You put others first.
You are my first born, the one that I was with alone for 10 years. You are my pride and joy. You are my life and my love. I have learned to let you go, but keep you close in my heart.
Happy Birthday. I know you had a good weekend celebrating it and had some fun today at work. Here’s a hug from me to you, my sweetie.

Happy birthday to both daughter and her mom!

This sounds to me like the most heartfelt birthday greeting I’ve had a chance to read in a long time. Best wishes and happy birthday to both of you – from the bottom of my heart!

Aaah, I’m glad she had a good day. Now, she’s the one who’s getting married, right? And I can’t remember, does she live by you or is she pretty far away? I try to keep everybody’s families all straight but sometimes it’s a lot to remember!
