My Desktop Sucks

I had to use my desktop for a little while tonight. I needed some programs that are on there including Cute FTP. I was hoping to get some blogging done also but I realized that I am now so spoiled by my laptop that I felt like the desktop was moving too slowly for me. I also kept trying to use scroll without the mouse.

Now to me that is really funny because the one thing I hated about my laptop was not having a mouse. I guess I’m pretty used to it now. I am going to figure out some way to move all of my info from my desktop to my laptop very soon. I’m also going to add the new memory I have to my desktop so that I can use it to do some of the things I still haven’t learned to do on my laptop. I also have all of my banking info on there and would rather not move it.

And so I’m back on my laptop and loving it. Desktop, I’m so sorry!

   You can transfer files a number of ways.
   1. use a USB cord, plug into both pcs, and move/copy files to the one you want them on.

   2. Use a USB flash drive, load it with the files, unplug, plug it in the other computer, copy over.

   3. Burn all of the files to a disc, then put the disc in the computer you want them on and copy them over.

   Sigh. I want a laptop so bad, I can’t stand it. Although, the lack of a mouse does worry me. I hate using that little scroll ball thingy on my husband’s laptop.

   I recently bought a new laptop, and its so much faster than my desktop (which performs well) but recently started using my laptop all the time.
