Just Another Day

And so Peanut went back to school today. After much complaining on her part, the day went well. She woke up on time and although she was far from pleased she got herself ready for school and off we went. It was an odd feeling having the house to myself today. I’ve been used to having her home, my In-Laws here and other family visiting for the recent weeks.

So did I do anything constructive? Not a bit! Instead of using the time I needed to get some blogging done, to work on some more of my Aunt’s Medicare paperwork, to pay bills, to put away some Christmas decorations, I slept.

I really needed it though. I have to call the nephrologist to see about getting my potassium levels checked more often. After my low potassium scare recently and my medication increase nothing else was done.

I did make some phone calls to get my prescriptions in order and to set up some other doctor appointments. So all was not lost. It was just another day but things will get back to normal for me very soon.

I know the feeling! I finally had the day all to myself here at home and what did I do? Pretty much nothing! I am sloth - hear me snore!

I hope her day was really good. And it sounds like you got some much needed rest.

Kate, she’s just fine with school now. It just was something she wanted to complain about for a while. She’s entitled!
