I never thought I’d spend a lot of money on hair products for myself. But since I’ve been going to a new hairdresser she has me hooked on some products that I can only buy at the salon. I haven’t been able to find anything similar or less expensive so I’m pretty spoiled now. And since I don’t color my hair, which really needs it and don’t get manicures or pedicures I figure I deserve this one extra in my life.

Still, I’m frugal and if I can find a way to get what I want cheaper I’m all for it. Looking online, though I was able to find hair care products for my spiky hair that is very similar to what I buy and it is a lot less expensive. The website, Hello Gorgeous, even provides free shipping for sales over $49 and flat rate shipping for only $4.95.

I was also pleased to find nioxin for sale, which helps people who have different types of hair loss. My mother and aunt both have thinning hair. My husband is starting to get some hair loss at his hairline. Nioxin works for this and for hair loss caused by chemical treatments too. The site provides information on how Nioxin works and the various types of hair loss it works with. Having all of this all one site with the shipping specials makes shopping for this type of product easy and less embarrassing for some people who may be bothered by this. Many of the hair products are also on sale, which makes my frugal side very happy.
