Ongoing Wedding Plans

While Lady Ali and Buttah were here for a short visit from Kansas, we had some time to go over some more of their wedding plans. They will be going to taste the food for the wedding about 4 months before the wedding as told that they should do by the venue. They are looking at wedding invitations now and are making their own Save The Date Cards. I liked what they made so far. Thank goodness they are creative.

With all of the cards they’ll be sending I suggested they get some custom rubber stamps made with their address or even their signature. They said they’d take a look at those.

Buttah had me laughing because whenever he heard the word, “wedding” he’d change the subject. He said that he’s sick of thinking and talking about it. It’s not that he isn’t into the wedding, it is just that he wants to get the planning done and get married already. He’s really in for it, because there’s still so much to do and so many more months to go until August.

We eloped, but planning our celebration party was enough to keep me hopping. I had fun ordering custom stamps and making gift bags, and I just know I could have gone all out with a full wedding!

Haha… men are such wimps when it comes to wedding plans! And us females LOVE making plans :)

If they need an extremely talented wedding photographer here’s a link to a friend of mine:

I know he’s a LONG ways away, but they might like to see his work. He’s the one who made my bobblehead tedhead!

Corrin, just planning the celebration is a lot of work. The good thing is that this whole thing is bringing my daughter and me closer.

Julie, I didn’t know about that story. I’m sure you blogged about it though. You’ll have to give me a link one day.

Wow is Michael talented Heather! He is a long distance away though. I was trying to find his bobble heads as they are going to use Mii’s for their wedding toppers.

Believe it or not Vein, but my daughter’s wedding is considered simple compared to many others!

I wonder ~ Is there any really any simple weddings? My son is in predeployment training. The wedding is planned for after training and before deployment. But,…. NO ACTUAL DATE IS GIVEN FOR THIS TIME! AHHHHHHHH
Enough to drive a mom crazy. He is the one that wants a traditional wedding. And we get no help from him!

Oh Christina, I can just imagine how hard wedding planning can be for you. With the military, it’s always, hurry up and wait. Hope all goes well.
