What A Bargain Dahling

It unfortunately wasn’t the same without my older daughter and my Aunt being here, but we did the best we could for my youngest daughter. We put on a good front and focused on the important things, most importantly the real meaning of the day.
Then as she opened her presents we got lost in her excitement and wonderment as she found her gifts from Santa. She was so thrilled that he was able to get her a few things on her list this year. She was very good about not being greedy and allowed other family members to open their gifts instead of just her opening all of hers first. She was excited to watch as we opened gifts from her.
There were a few gift mistakes for Peanut, one video game she already owned and one that she really didn’t like at all. Although So she knows she’s going to get store credit for those items and she already has some that she hasn’t used. The good thing is that I can use the store credit for groceries and household items and give her the money in return.

Wow!! That is quite the bargain!! i’m so glad you all had a good Christmas although everyone wasn’t with you this year. I hope you aunt is doing a little better!

Kate, Peanut had a great Christmas. My Aunt is doing much better now, especially that she was discharged from the hospital and is in Rehab. Thanks for asking.

Linda, doesn’t it all go by too soon? All that preparing and then, zap! And then it’s over. I get to celebrate again though when my older daughter comes home tomorrow. I can’t wait!
