• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Toys For Tots Needs Help

December 21st, 2008 by Connie Roberts

I’m sure you’ve heard about the organization Toys for Tots. There’s probably drop boxes for toys in your neighborhood. They’ve probably been featured in your local newspaper, on your local news and online. This year with the economy being so bad, there are many parents seeking help from Toys for Tots but the donations are not keeping up with the demand.

We can make a difference! Bloggers, especially Mom Bloggers can help get the word out. Write a post about this issue, Stumble my post, Digg it, share it, and most importantly make a donation of a toy. If you don’t have time to do that, you can make an online donation instead. Even five dollars will help buy something special for a boy or girl.

Please donate here and help out the US Marine Corps Reserves and the Marines who run Toys for Tots. They have been working tirelessly this year as always. Please help them out by sharing this information by December 22. You can even tweet about it.

Thanks to Jennifer from AutomaticMoms.com who got this ball rolling. See her post here.
