The Princess Bride movie was made in 1987. I can still remember many of the lines from it since it was one of the best adventure/comedies made in a long time. But even if you don’t remember this movie, the Princess Bride Game for your PC is a good match for anyone who likes trivia, graphics, comedy, adventure and narrative stories.
The game’s characters are based on the movie. There’s Princess Buttercup, Wesley, Vizzini, Inigo, Fezzik and more. There’s even the “Rodents of Unusual Size”. If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll be laughing right along. If you haven’t, you’ll want to grab a copy to view asap.
There are 5 episodes or games to play – Time Management, Inconceivable Trivia, Puzzle Platformer, Hidden Objects and Potion Cooking and Inventory Collection and Assembly. Some of the narration is from the the original movie stars, Robin Wright-Penn, Wallace Shawn and Mandy Patinikin. There’s music including a song titled, “Incredible” by the Clique Girls. The game is geared toward teen and tween girls but is also good for adults who know and love the movie. Perfect to play with your daughter!
You can play demos of the game on the website for this video game. There’s also free printables, wallpaper, song download and information on how to keep in touch with other gamers.
You can purchase the game or gift cards for the downloadable version from retail stores. See the website for a list of stores. You can also purchase it online.
Princess Bride Game is available from Amazon.com.

I love that movie! So very close to the original book. I can’t see how the game is connected to the movie based on the review though.

The characters from the movie are in the game. I guess I should have made that much clearer. I’ll fix it now. Thanks for the advice.
This is INCONCEIVABLE!
I can’t believe this game even exists – how cool is that?

It’s true Andrea. I didn’t make it up
I think that’s my husband’s favorite movie EVER! I haven’t actually managed to watch the entire movie from beginning to end. There are too many little people in the house…

We absolutely love this movie! To turn it into a board game, hopefully that’s fun, too! I’ve opened the link to the game, but wanted to leave me two cents first. Thanks! I had no idea this existed

I had no idea it was a real game either Maureen. It’s so cool too! I like it because there’s choices of what I can play.
Diane, to try it out click on “Demos”. Then choose which one you’d like to try. You can play all 5 of them. Just wait for it to load and play. No need to write anything or join anything. Hope it works for you.
This is so exciting! I did not know there was a game to complement the movie. It is definitely a classic!
