Going Green With Pacific Shaving Company
November 22nd, 2008 by Connie RobertsPacific Shaving Company produces shaving oil that is in a very small bottle compared to regular shaving cream containers. With every purchase made the company plants a tree. So far sales of this oil have reduced about 20,000 cans of shaving cream mean for landfills. Although the bottle is small, only 1/2 oz, you only use a few drops with each shave so it lasts for a long time.
I have very sensitive and dry skin due to a chronic illness called Sjogren’s Syndrome, so when Family Review Networks asked me to try this product I had to check on the ingredients. I was very pleased to learn that everything is natural and would actually help to moisture my skin. Their manufacturing process and quality control is watched carefully to assure everything is safe.
When I used the All Natural Shaving Oil to shave my legs I was amazed at how little I needed and how easy it was to glide the razor across my skin. I only used 5 drops with water for each leg and that’s all I needed. After shaving my normally dry skin felt soft which is very unusual. I normally have flaky skin and have to use moisturizers daily. Not after using this shaving oil.
There is just a hint of a citrus scent but it is gone shortly which is good because my daughter is allergic to perfumes. I like that it doesn’t clog pores and that I can see where I’m shaving because there’s no foam. This is an all around great product that I highly recommend. I don’t put off shaving my legs like I normally do, but don’t tell anyone that, OK?
I also received the Nick Stick, but haven’t needed to use it yet! I doubt I will.

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

That sounds very much like the product worth trying – having all natural ingredients, helping plant new trees and especially if it really doesn’t dry out the skin. Thank you for this review, very useful!

I have used some very similar products here in the UK and find them to be very effective, particularly on my sensitive skin.

Heather, this company does walk the walk when it comes to going green. I think they go over and above. Since using the shaving oil I haven’t needed the Nick Stick but for those who use lotion to shave it can be useful.
