I’m not going to bombard you with more complaints about my blog issues, just one scary one that is freaking me out and that’s it, promise. I am losing subscribers to my blog very fast since my feed problems began. Well they were probably going on before I realized it, so I haven’t kept track for the entire time. Since I have though, I’ve gone from a whopping 312 to 191 subscribers. I’m not only crying, I’m sweating it big time.
I know that my stats are very important right now because I’m reaching out for more product reviews. I’ve actually put off giving out my stats to a site I work with and haven’t joined a couple of other sites until this issue is solved.
This can cost me readers and business. No need for me to use any fat burners as I’ve not only sweated off some weight I’ve also lost sleep over this.
But one thing remains, I won’t give up. I am not a quitter and will get this mess figured out some how. Thanks to those of you who are sticking by me. I appreciate you. I’m glad that you’re not relying on an email feed subscription to find me!
As an aside, some people were curious about the Comment Luv contest I mentioned in my earlier post. In order to take part, you must be a member of Comment Luv, that means you have the plugin activated on your blog along with the widget. Then go to the contest page to register your site. Leave comments on those blogs that are already registered and win prizes like $25 to your PayPal account, memory cards and headphones.
My problem is that I can’t comment on other blogs to gain points because Comment Luv doesn’t work due to the feed issues. Oops, I’m complaining again..sorry!
Because I am totally blog illiterate, I have no idea what most of your post means … I’m taking it that people choose to get your blog updates by email rather than by visiting your blog? And the “feed” that provides your subscribers with your posts in their email is not working so people are unsubscribing?
I’ve been toying with the idea of having an email subscriber thing (have no idea what it’s called) but when I hear something like this … if I’m right in my thinking above … it makes me think twice about it.
Yes that’s part of it Andrea. The other part is that my feed reader may not be updating depending on the reader people are using, so my blog may be showing up as inactive for a while now. UGH!

I am still not getting an updated feed from this site, but I am checking in everyday manually. You WILL NOT lose me as a subscriber or a friend!! I voted for you for the WI and I hope you win. I will tweet about it and try to work it into a blog post as well!

Dore’, I have a blog widget that shows my subscribers. You can see it on the home page on my right sidebar. Yes, my feed is updating on Google Reader, thank goodness! And thanks for staying with me. I so appreciate it.
