Oodle - Walmart Free Classified Ads
I’ve been trying to sell some inventory that didn’t sell on eBay and some household items we no longer need. I tried Craigs List where you can find everything from bartering to dating, from Super Bowl tickets to crib bedding and even missed connections (you met someone at a bar but didn’t get their phone number) to rants and raves (adult rated for sure).
I sold a few items but things slowed down to selling nothing at all. Then I heard about Oodle. This is Walmart’s Classifieds Beta. It is free to list your items for sale. Some of the categories are Cars, Real Estate, Electronics, Collectibles, Home and Garden and Sports Tickets among others. Many large cities in the US are included. You can also pay for advertising on this site too.
I’m going to give Oodle a try and see how it goes. I’ll keep you posted.

That is interesting. So do you just sell things that you have lying around the house, or do you have something like an internet selling business?

Kate, you can sell things from your house, used items as well as new. Hope you try it out too.

Hey! This is fantastic! I’ve got some stuff I’d like to sell and I never heard of this - and I haven’t had much luck on Craig’s list lately.
Thank you!

Great. I will be checking oodle out. I have been using http://www.craigslist.com for long time and then http://www.khrido.com recently. I must say I have been selling my used stuff pretty successfully. It never hurts to expand your options. Thanks much!

I’ve never heard of this! I’ll definitely have to check it out. I’ve been successful so far with Craigslist, selling things we no longer need. But if I hit a dry spell, it might be worth me trying another site! Thanks for sharing this!

Lucky you Helene on your success with Craigslist. I sold just a few things and then nothing. I’m still giving them a try and am now adding to Oodle too. Hope you sell on both.
