I Want Money
Do you remember that song, Money (That’s What I Want)? It’s stuck in my head. It was first done by Barret Strong back in 1959. It was remade by the Beatles and then much later in 1979 by the Flying Lizards.
I guess there’s a good reason for me thinking of this song. I want money! I need money. Lots of people ask me how I make money from blogging. One way that I do is by writing paid reviews, another is by affiliates. One of my favorites is the Mom’s Talk Network Affiliate Program. I am earning money from this affiliate very easily. Kelly McCausey has set up a site that makes it easy to find links that fit well with your blog and her emails assist you also.
I’m also doing a lot of things to save money. We are being very frugal in every day life. We are using a budget and sticking to it. We have cut back on a lot of expenses by using this budget. We no longer rent movies, we get them from the library. We shut off lights when we are not in the room. We check prices on everything we buy and only buy sale prices. We found cheap auto insurance. We canceled credit cards that we no longer use, like department store cards and now just have two cards. One we are paying off the balance and the other we pay off the balance every month. All these things add up to help us save money so we can earn more money!

I loved that video. Now the song is stuck in my head! I checked out the link but don’t think that site fits me. My kids are grown so not many of the reviews would fit my blogs. Do you agree?

Saving and earning money is definitely one of my priorities right now. I’m on the Pepperjam network for a few weeks and no money yet. I guess I’m going to try the Moms Talk Affiliate Program to see if I can increase my income.
